The Kransky Sisters
HEARD IT ON THE WIRELESS

Kransky Sisters

"Simply fantastic. Brooding, gothic and unhealthily co-dependant, the Kranskys are deservedly an institution."
The Age

"If Dame Edna ever retired to the Outback and procreated, the result might be something like the Kranskys." The Scotsman (UK)

Suitable for all ages.

Venturing to the big smoke from the dusty curtained private world of their old family home in Esk, sisters Mourne, Eve and Dawn Kransky arrive in Brisbane with their darkly funny stories from across the countryside and their uniquely homespun version of popular tunes heard on the old wireless.

The Kransky Sisters' award-winning hit show Heard it on the Wireless offers audiences the chance to revisit many of their most popular tunes they have performed over the years including hits from AC/DC, Steppenwolf, Russell Morris, Talking Heads and The Eurythmics.

Witness the lilting harmonies and offbeat humour of the hugely talented, slightly disturbing sisters as they accompany themselves on an old 60s reed keyboard, Tuba, musical saw, kitchen pot, toilet brush and fervently shaken, duelling tambourines.
